Schott perfecto black leather motorcycle jacket, Size 44 Long, Made in USA. This jacket, although probably from the 1980s or 90s, is in excellent condition with no scuffs or tears. Appears not to have been worn very much. Lining is in great shape. Pockets linings are intact and clean.
44 long is a difficult size to find. The leather appears to be stearhide, not the softer naked cowhide.
This jacket appears to have been issued for a police department. The sleeves are modified with cuffs to prevent cold air going up the sleeve (see photos). There are needle marks on the top of both sleeves where a police department patch appears to have been (see photos). There are pin holes on right collar and a Maryland Blue Knights pin still on the left collar (see photos). Pit to pit is 23 inches. Across back at top from shoulder seam to shoulder seam (where epaulets attach) is 19 inches. Length from bottom seem of collar (just above snap) to bottom hem is 26 1/2 inches.
