RARE Vtg 40s Seattle Woolen Co. Wool Cruiser 44 Filson Style Hunting Jacket. This is an amazing vintage late 30s or 40s era Seattle Woolen Co. Wool jacket designed in the style of a classic Filson Cruiser. From what information I've been able to gather online, these two companies did work together at one point.

I don't know if this jacket was manufactured with Filson's blessings or not. What I can say is this piece is, in many respects, superior to the modern Filson Cruiser, and an absolute must-have for the serious collector. This jacket features a classic, delicate butterfly collar of the era, buttons instead of snaps, and the fabric itself, although a little thinner than Filson wool fabric, feels somewhat more dense and softer to the touch. I'm basing my dating of this piece on the union label located deep in the bottom pocket(impossible to photograph). Although it's faded and a bit worn, it is clearly a pre-1950 union label. This jacket is in excellent vintage condition. There's no stains, rips, tears or other damage to mention. The only condition issue that needs to be stated is a small hole on the left sleeve a few inches above the cuff(see pic). This doesn't look like moth damage, but rather, possibly a cigarette burn hole. If I was intending to keep this piece I would probably look into reweaving since this jacket is otherwise very nice. There's no marked size, but I'm 6' 1 and wear a size 44 and this jacket fits me perfectly. Be sure to check the measurements below. Just wait for my invoice.
