Men's 1930s 1940s German Brown Leather Motorcycle Jacket Small 30s 40s Vtg Biker

30s-40s German Leather Motorcycle Jacket. There is no tag present in this jacket, since the lining is gone. The smaller zippers are all German (Ruhr, Zipp, Rapid) and the main front zipper is YKK, which is Japanese. Our assumption is that the is a civilian made motorcycle jacket from around the WW2 era. It was possibly brought back by a US military service member and as far as we know, is not a military piece.

There is wear and abrasion throughout. There is a split seam just under the back collar and some pulling of the armpit seams. The right armpit looks like it ripped and was repaired. Another hole underneath the left chest zipper was also repaired.

It looks like there may have been patches on the shoulders at one time. I think this is still wearable but the pulled seams do need restitched. Please check photos for a better idea of condition. Chest (Measured from armpit to armpit across chest, then doubled)- 19.5 inches across; 39 inch Chest.

Shoulders (Measured across the top of back yoke, where sleeve hem meets shoulder hem)- 16.5 inches. Sleeves (Measured from top where sleeve meets shoulder to bottom cuff)- 25 inches. Length (Measured from bottom of collar to the bottom hemline)- 23 inches.
