The jacket is of excellent quality leather that will last a lifetime. This Aero Leather Horsehide Leather Motorcycle jacket is clean/solid overall and is made of excellent quality front quarter horsehide leather. The heavy black colored leather is clean, remains supple/durable, is nicely broken in and has no worn areas (see photos). No patches have ever been sewn to the jacket. Both sides have slash pockets and the left side chest has a zippered horizontal pocket as well (see photos).

Main zipper run is a large tooth Talon that operates properly (see photos). Both sides have sizing straps at the waist (see photos).

Plaid wool lining to the interior is clean and remains solid overall (see photos). There are several worn areas and small losses near the waist from wear (see photos).

A makers label is present below the collar that shows the maker as Aero Leather Co. The label top has the early Aero advertising slogan, "All Weather Clothing for the Sportsman, Aviator or Motorist" (see photos).

The small size tag below the makers label shows 46 but the jacket fits the mannequin as a size 42. Measurements for this jacket are: shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back 21.5 inches, shoulder seam to the bottom of the cuff 24 inches, base seam of collar to bottom of waist - 25.75 inches. Armpit to armpit across the front - 24 inches. This jacket is a real quality motorcycle jacket by a premier maker. It shows moderate use/wear but remains very solid overall. It would be great for regular wear if you fit the size. Please remember it is marked as a 46 but fits the mannequin more like a size 42. If this jacket was my size I'd be wearing it.
