Likely 1940's - 1950's. An Authentic Vintage Pony Wise Leathers Motorcycle "D" Pocket Leather JACKET. Made in Toronto, Ontario, Canada by wise sportswear. Great-looking vintage jacket, loads of character! Hard-to-find horsehide motorcycle jacket made by ponywise. Classic "Brando" style, features include a belted front, nickel accent "spots", big "D" or holster style pocket, real epaulets, zippered sleeves, full lining, etc. Another vintage classic, more style and much better quality than almost anything you can find today.

The leather is strong but pliable. All coats fit differently so please follow measurements.

Size is not tagged - we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit. All measurements taken on outside of coat, buttoned and laid flat. Chest taken under arms - 41 inches.

Shoulders - measured across the back from shoulder seam to seam - 17 inches. Sleeve from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff - 24.5 inches. Sleeve from bottom of collar seam to sleeve cuff - 30.5 inches. Length taken from top to bottom of jacket 25 in. Bottom edge measured all the way around - 36 inches.

Excellent vintage condition inside and out. Exterior shows no holes, tears or significant wear. There are a few missing stitches in a couple spots, not noticeable.

Lining shows minor wear near sleeve ends, but it is minor and overall condition of the lining is excellent. A little character and minor natural wear.

Nice silver Lightning zippers appear to be original, strong and all work well. You may find it clean and wearable as is, but as with all pre-owned items we recommend cleaning it.
