Vintage 1970's Honda motorcycle leather jacket and trousers riding suit
End of March, the motorcycle season approaches, this item has now got 20 watchers and had 850 views. Groovy 1970's Honda branded leather motorcycle jacket and trousers in an amazing green colour-way with yellow piping. Stylish and practical, the jacket has 5 outer pockets and one inside.
The pocket linings are all good. Trousers are a 32 waist.I have previously just had the jacket listed as I had put the trousers away so safely I couldn't find them! Very nice for their age, The leather is in great condition. When I got this the original Honda badge had been replaced with a BMW badge and the Honda badge on the trousers had been removed.
I had a friend with a CAD embroidering machine make me these colour matched badges using the 1960's Honda wing design. This badges are a one off so the jacket and trouser set is now truly unique! The trouser badge will need to be sewn on, it is supplied loose. The jacket is in remarkable condition for its 40+ years, though it does have some minor faults and age related marks: The belt is missing.
It originally had cuff flaps which have been removed in the past, these are on the underside of the arm and are not obvious when the jacket is worn. There is a small worn patch on the lining above the inside pocket. There are also some marks on the orangey gold! Lining which would probably come out with a clean.
There are a few minor nicks on the piping. The trousers look as if they've hardly been worn. Both Jacket and trousers have fully functioning YKK zips.
