VANSON MERCURY BLACK LEATHER JACKET Size 48 Classic Style Exc + Helmet

Up for sale is a Vanson motorcycle leather jacket. It is a Mercury model.

Vanson describes it as a medium-weight leather, but I would say it's more of a heavy-weight leather. Very warm for those brisk fall rides. The style of the jacket is simple - chrome zippers on the front, and both sleeves.

Traditional shirt-style collar, which I had sewn down by a tailor to stop it from rattling around while I was riding. Two pockets out front, and one vest pocket on the inside. Flannel lining, with all the Vanson snaps to add any accessories. The jacket is well broken in, but still retains it's beautiful black gloss. Note the left sleeve had a Vanson patch on it, which I removed about two years ago, but you can still see the sewn square outline where the patch was.

Please see pictures #4 and #5. No patch was ever on the right sleeve. Many people maintain a broken-in Vanson is preferred to a new one, due to the stiffness of the leather. Notice from the pics how the sleeves have that perfect rider's shape. You won't be disappointed.

Edit: I'm adding in a Biefe Three-quarters size Helmet into the deal, with no change in price. It's from 1995, so there's a little bit of dry rot going on in the lining. It's black, size Medium, has a Harley Davidson sticker on the back, and a few bumps and bruises, but very presentable.
