You are viewing a SUPERB Genuine Langlitz of Portland Oregon Leather Motorcycle jacket. Columbia style in EXCELLENT condition - looks great. Leather, steerhide or possibly horsehide, is thick, strong and durable, and the jacket is heavy.
It features a heavy front brass Scovill zipper, two outside zippered pockets, one leather-trimmed open inside pocket, double-thick rear kidney panel that provides support and helps for lower back coverage, adjustable leather sides, zippered sleeve ends, under-arm vented "footballs", full satin-like black lining, etc. The leather is thick, pliable and in great condition. All items fit differently so please follow measurements. Size is stamped inside pocket - 43 XL - we assume XL is extra LONG (not extra large) - but we recommend that you measure an actual garment that fits you well and compare the measurements for the best fit.
All measurements taken on outside of coat, zipped and laid flat. Chest taken under arms - 44 inches. Shoulders - measured across the back from shoulder seam to seam - 18.5 inches. Sleeve - from shoulder seam to sleeve cuff - 24.5 inches. Sleeve - from bottom of collar seam to sleeve cuff - 31 inches.
Length taken from top to bottom of coat 28 in. Bottom edge - adjustable - measured all the way around - 36-40 inches. Appears to have been worn seldomly. Leather is superb, great feel and look. All zippers strong and working well.
Lining clean with no real wear. Collar is missing three of the male snap grommet closures - likely removed for esthetics, but would be an easy inexpensive addition, should you choose, by any leather worker. Lining and pocket bags are clean and fully intact. Clean and you'll likely find it wearable as is, but as with all pre-owned items, we recommend cleaning it.
