For sale is a one of a kind reproduction of the Buco JH-1 leather jacket made by Buco in 1947. This is a reproduction of one of the earliest Buco jackets ever. The jacket is modelled after a vintage example see the third photo which was made of brown horsehide, and featured top sleeve zips and a d-pocket without the usual cigarette pocket. Constructed by Diamond Dave Diamond Clothing Co.
Out of Shinki Japanese Horsehide the greatest jacket leather out there in a medium russet brown. This color is beautiful in person, but is a challenge to photograph. Ive done my best to show it in a variety of light levels. Three pockets: a handwarmer, a small chest pocket, and a large d-pocket. Uncoated brass hardware, that has already patinated over the year I owned it to a nice dull gold.Sleeve gussets to protect wrists from zipper. Olive-drill-lined built-in belt with vintage snaps.
Main zipper uses original conmar bell pull, but that makes it a bit finicky. See the below measurements for full details. Pit to pit: 23.25.
Sleeve, measured along outside edge from shoulder seam to edge: 26.25. Back, from Bottom of collar to bottom hem: 25 (including the collar: 27). I only wore it a couple times before I decided it just didnt work for me.
Very little wear except for some creasing and some small scratches. The item "Diamond Dave Buco JH-1 Leather Jacket M L Real McCoys Goodwear Shinki Horsehide" is in sale since Tuesday, July 31, 2018.
