Vintage LEATHER MOTORCYCLE RACING 1pc JACKET PANTS Riding Suit. Not a modern reproduction, this is a vintage suit, actually used for racing.
Originally owned by racer Paul R Turnbull, and custom made for him. Receipt found in chest pocket is from BRYAR at LOUDON, in August 1979. I believe this was his last race.
Size: custom no size label, but made for a very small man. Please see actual measurements for accurate size. 17.5 from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, when laid flat. 17.5" across chest, when laid flat (doubles to 35" chest). 16 from armpit to bottom of cuff.
21.5 sleeve length from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff. 15" across waist, when laid flat (doubles to 29-30" waist). 29 from top of collar (frontside) to crotch. 33.5 from top of collar (backside) to crotch.
58.75 total length from top of collar (backside) to bottom. In excellent vintage condition, stored in an old cedar chest for many years. Structurally sound, with no rips, tears, holes, odors, dryrot, cracking, or repairs.This suit could be worn today. Normal wear with some scuffs and scratches, as would be expected. All zippers vintage and working fine. Please do your homework on sizing. Measurements are approximate and in inches.
